It all began on gnn.com in 1994, I had two digital images and lots of motivation and drive to get my art and stories published. The internet would be the place to publish. I had been working in technology with computers as an engineer beginning in 1972. I was already using the internet for information and business needs. By 1994 personal computers were powerful enough to slowly render a 2d image from 3d gemometry files and a paint program called Painter let me paint on the computer, sort of like the painted I did on canvass. In 1995 a company called VTE offered to host my art for free. During that time, I published many pieces of digital art both 2d and 3d. I created some animations but could never get them published because of their large size. VTE.com eventually folded and I had to quickly move my site and content and became a member of AOL. I used them until 1999 when I registered repasky.com. It was a big step and more costly. I had to pay for the site hosting as well as internet access, instead of AOL's single price. However, I had reached the limit of space AOL provided and so the move was necessary. Since then repasky.com has had many changes. During 1999 to 2002, the home page was changed 8-10 times a year sometimes more. The level of effort and time involved eventually became too much to maintain and eventually became once a year. Content such as art and writings were also added monthly. That also changed over time. Now new content is added every 30-60 days, usually art, sometimes writings, animations, and music and the home page is changed every 6 months or so. Repasky.com is now here :-)
